Specializing in loving your dogs!

Sheri

General Manager

Hello! ~I like dogs, I'm the Dog Lady!~

I am originally from the Big Island of Hawaii. I moved to Alaska in 2020 with absolutely no plans and landed this super cool gig working with dogs. I've been here ever since! I really look forward to coming into work each day and seeing all the pups. It's such a rewarding place to be. In my free time I enjoy spontaneous adventures, eating delicious food and short hikes - mostly because I'm not very fit.

Cameron

Fireweed Assistant Manager

Hello! My name is Cameron and I am the AM Shift Lead here at Howling Peaks. I love traveling, hiking, photography, and animals... especially dogs! My daily life consists of consuming all the joy and love from our delightful facility dogs, then going home to my own fur babies, Hugo Bear and Jane Peach <3

Joycie

Lake Otis Assistant Manager

Hi! My name is Joycie, I'm one of the shift leads here at Howling Peaks! I'm from Kodiak, but moved to Anchorage for school. My love for dogs started when I was a kid. My dad and I used to volunteer at our local animal shelter and would foster a few pups along the way. Since then, I've just always been a dog person. I grew up with a super cute, perfect, little Shih Tzu name Biscuit. He's been my best friend since I was in the 4th grade and has definitely made my love for dogs grow even stronger. My favorite part about coming to work everyday is getting to know all the different dogs and spending time with them.

Chiquira

Shift Supervisor

I'm originally from Florida and moved here from Georgia, I have a beautiful little girl and 4 dogs and my husband is military. I've had a passion for all animals and a dream to work with them since I was 6 years old, and I was previously a Veterinary Technician before moving here. I chose to try my hand at something different with animals when I moved here and I absolutely love it, I love being able to spend a more intimate time with dogs as my profession.

Steve

K9 Coach

I am 33 years old and I was raised in a dachshund-loving home in "Delco" Pennsylvania. All of my relatives had big dogs while I was growing up though, so now I love them all. I used to work as a welder in New Jersey. I miss the beach, but everyday I'm still in awe of the mountains here. In my free time I enjoy reading, painting, playing music and of course the outdoors; which has all come to a hiatus now that I have my own doxie-pup, but I love him tremendously. My favorite part of working with your animals is when they let me run around and play with them, but I settle for belly rubs for the ones that just like to kick-it.

Dillan

K9 Coach & Groomer

Hi! I've been working with dogs and grooming for over 8 years and love every minute of it. 🙂 Seeing dogs improve with their socialization and interactions is a blessing to watch unfold. To be a part of Howling Peaks has really been an absolute treat to me and my well being! Dogs are a big part of my life and I won't have it any other way!♥

Audrey

K9 Coach

My name is Audrey. I have lived in Alaska my whole life. I have always loved dogs so much that I would sleep in my dogs beds with them as a kid! I raised my dog Penelope from the day she was born and she is my best friend! We go on every trip together and love going on nature walks.
